How does this plugin impact SEO?

    • #3 by Anthony on May 31, 2009 - 5:48 pm

Actually it works on a couple levels. First, it creates more pages to be indexed by search engines for the links that you feature on your site. Second, it features a collection of links to promote your links on popular social networks. Both of these features have a solid impact on the SEO of your blog.

      • #4 by Sabo on June 2, 2009 - 11:59 am

        I say negative impact:

        1. More pages with the same content.
        2. More external links (because the old ones were renamed).
        3. It adds more than 30 new querys to the database (it slows your pages)
        4. It´s intrusive (ask your users about the DIGG or Facebook bar)

        • #5 by Anthony on June 2, 2009 - 7:39 pm

I appreciate your concern WP-Bar may have, but let me address a few things:

1.) Its not necessarily creating new pages, yet a very small page that iframe’s the original URL. In SEO terms, yes, the plugin’s site does not get SEO points for the link featured, the original link does. So actually it’s creating new pages, but not new content.

2.) I wouldn’t say its creating more external links. Actually it’s creating less because the new links its creating (and replacing) now make the external links look internal in terms of search engine spiders following links on a blog. So this would in turn create more deep linking within the pages, which is a positive impact on SEO.

3.) Yes, it does add more query’s to the database, which, in extremely high volumes could slow your page down. With any WordPress plugin applying a filter to the content of each post this most likely would be the case. In most cases, the page load is not going to drastically make enough of an impact on the site to negatively effect SEO.

4.) This is an opinion, more over than an impact on SEO. Yes, there are always going to be users that do not like different features of different services, but considering many things are free on the internet, such as Digg and Facebook, you should enjoy the services they have to offer. As with these services you do have the option of disabling such features.

Sabo, I honestly appreciate your concern and awareness, but simply put, if you do not like my plugin, that’s fine, you don’t have to use it, but feedback is much of thanks.

          • #6 by Abe on July 28, 2009 - 7:13 pm

I stand in about the middle on this issue. Yet I’m still going to use this Plugin. For the same reason as Google, a nested outbound link encourages conversation ratios, it encourages your visitors to stay on your site. SEO still leads right up to conversion ratios for any web developing expert. Who cares if you have 1 million visitors a day if they’re leaving your site and not coming back because you linked to a site that caught their attention and distracted them. I link to good sites, so I would expect, and hope that it’s somewhat of a distraction this new idea/opportunity for my visitor.

These are frames that are being used… Google knows how to respond to frames, they must considering many types of their results get linked inside frames. I would love a feature on here actually though that adds a NO-FOLLOW option to the WordPress bar. Then search engines simply won’t even follow these pages at all. That would rule out outbound links entirely, and optimize the heck out of irrelevant duplicate content. Actually that would make my day, really. I would like the option to turn it off though, for links i do want indexed, that I don’t want opened inside a frame.

Anyway there can’t be too much of a negative impact here either way currently, because at least Google will disregard duplicates entirely when it perceives them a certain way. It’s been cited as not being a penalty toward any other pages, at least the older SEO stuff I’m aware of, to load pages inside frames. Honestly, from years of SEO I can say, I don’t think anyone will notice a negative impact on current SEO, if you do though let me know too please cuz search engine trends are always changing.

              Abe,
You’ve definitely made some good points here. I’ve been doing SEO work for quite some time now and have thought of many different aspects of this plugin. I thank you for addressing the many details that you’ve listed here. As I continue to develop this plugin I will definitely take the No-Follow option into consideration. More than likely some type of No-Follow option will be added into the next release. I appreciate your suggestions and comments, it means a lot.

    Hi,
I want to use this plugin, but it doesn’t work correctly. First of all the WP-Bar-Settings: http://twitpic.com/6cipl ! Doesn’t look like the right on.
On my page http://www.tsj-blog.de I cannot see anything…

    Can you help me?
    Thanks.

    • #9 by Anthony on May 31, 2009 - 5:50 pm

It looks like the graphic options are not showing correctly. I’ll look into seeing what would keep this from happening. The plugin is really new and I appreciate the feedback as I continue to improve on the features and functionality. What other issue where you having?

I’ll see what I can do.

  4. #10 by George on May 31, 2009 - 7:10 pm

I seem to be having the same problem as thosebjen.
First, I tried autoinstalling by searching for it in the plugin directory, then I tried autoinstalling by letting the plugin directory search for the .zip file on my PC, lastly I tried manual install by drag and drop into the plugins folder.

It seems like it isn’t seeing the images. I am still working on a solution. If I find one, I will post it on here.

    • #11 by Anthony on June 1, 2009 - 1:08 am

I fixed the image issue with the admin. Try downloading the updated version of the plugin, 0.4.4. Again I seriously appreciate the feedback and I think this has a lot of potential, still many ideas I want to implement with it, in due time.

  5. #12 by Jay on May 31, 2009 - 9:46 pm

    Hi,

Very nice idea for a plugin and am using straight away. Had to edit the .php file to direct the images to wp-bar instead of wpbar as it was written, dont know if you want to fix that. Also where have you put the css details and styling? I want to be able to change the font. Other than that great work :)

    • #13 by Anthony on June 1, 2009 - 1:10 am

Yeah, I realized that my path choices were way too discrete. Instead, I’ve updated the plugin that uses a more variable path choice so that it finds the images much better. Update your plugin to the latest version 0.4.4 and it should be good. I really appreciate the feedback and will continue to improve the functionality and features of it. If there’s anything else you see, let me know.

      • #14 by Jay on June 1, 2009 - 2:52 pm

        Hi mate,

Have another bug. I host external files for download on my site and when you click them you get this error message.

”Safari can’t open the page “http://www.egothieves.com/?lbar=3osR7SvV” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection, which sometimes occurs when the server is busy. You might be able to open the page later.”

Not sure what it is or how to fix it, maybe an option to remove certain external links? So i can leave the download ones untouched? Also any news on changing the font?

        Cheers.

        • #15 by Anthony on June 1, 2009 - 5:31 pm

That’s actually a something on my to do list to add to the plugin. I want to create a feature where you can “whitelist” links to ignore, hope to have it out in the next release.

Never really thought about the font thing. I did have the idea of a CSS editor for the bar, which would allow a lot of customization. Not sure if this will be in the next release though.

          Thanks again for the feedback!

          • #16 by Jay on June 1, 2009 - 11:32 pm

Nice one bro, i will implement and use as soon as this is available.

    Thank u very much!!

    • #18 by Anthony on June 2, 2009 - 1:21 am

I’ve made a lot of improvements to the plugin that you may want to take a look at. It now features a whitelist where you can add domains to keep from the WP-Bar from recreating links. Update your plugin and let me know if your problem has been fixed. Thanks for the feedback as it continue to help me make the WP-Bar better!

    Hi,

great plugin. I have one wish :)
It will be wonderfull if we can choose the sites that will be ignored by with plugin.
I mean. I use at my site sociable plugin for social network and i dont want that when someone klick that button, the bar shows… so it will be nice if u can do an option where we can put site to be ignore such as digg, twitter etc…

    • #24 by Anthony on June 1, 2009 - 5:33 pm

That’s actually a something on my to do list to add to the plugin. I want to create a feature where you can “whitelist” links to ignore, hope to have it out in the next release.

I have a few other features and fixes that I’m looking to implement as well, so stay tuned!

what plug in are you using for you comments! it’s nice!!

  10. #27 by Doug on June 1, 2009 - 9:13 pm

I like this Anthony but it needs a setting for URLs or domains to not use the bar. I link most of my images from another site and they don’t display properly with this turned on.

    • #28 by Anthony on June 2, 2009 - 1:18 am

      Doug,
I’ve recently gone through a lot of the feedback and a few things I wanted to clean up with the plugin. I’m happy to release version 0.5.0. I’ve added the ability to whitelist domains as well as adding a few other features that you may enjoy. Update your plugin to the newest version. I seriously appreciate the feedback as it will only help me make it better!

Nice plugin, But any demo blog ??
Just screenshot is not sufficient :(

    • #30 by Anthony on June 2, 2009 - 1:18 am

I’ll see what I can do for a demo blog, as of now I’ve just updated the plugin and screenshots.

  12. #31 by Romeo on June 2, 2009 - 5:43 am

    Hi Anthony,

now works great… but when someone try to put URL in whitelist should be carefull.. there’s a difference beetween http//url.com and http//www.url.com :)

    I have one more question…
Till my site is in albanian language and i need to use other characters such as ë or ç but it dont funktion.. i try to add them to the plugin..

    function generate_uid($length=8) {
    $allChars = array(‘a’,'b’,'c’,'d’

    but dont funktion…
can u give me a tipp what to do :D

    • #32 by Anthony on June 2, 2009 - 7:22 pm

I’m not to familiar with working with other languages characters in URLs. I think the use of the English ones provided would work fine, since we are not trying to create translations of words, but a random “key”. If anyone happens to have a suggestion, please feel free to share.

      • #33 by Romeo on June 2, 2009 - 7:54 pm

        U have missunderstud me :D
i just want to change the text in the plugin.. i mean there where’s

I want to do it “Ndajeni këtë lajm:”

i mean this characters not the url characters :)

        • #34 by Anthony on June 2, 2009 - 8:00 pm

From the admin, when you use those characters they don’t show then?

If so I’ll look into the issue with other characters.

  13. #35 by Romeo on June 2, 2009 - 5:15 pm

    Hi,

sorry but me again. I think i found one more little bug (hoppe so)
look at this post from me
    http://www.romeolab.com/alsociable-plugin-shqip-per-wordpress/

where the websites are listed the links is shown http://www.romeolab.com?l=ëPV9EyjX and not as it real…
When i entered the admin and try to edit it, i see the link there in the right way…
    any idea why happen this?

    • #36 by Anthony on June 2, 2009 - 7:14 pm

I appreciate the feedback. I will look into finding the issue and updating it as soon as possible.

  14. #37 by Local Landing on June 2, 2009 - 6:27 pm

Great plugin. Just one question: is there a way to do this without changing the links themselves? Some of the display links to external sites changed once I activated the plugin. Is there a way to keep the display link the same and still send it to the external site with the bar at the top?

    • #38 by Anthony on June 2, 2009 - 7:15 pm

It seems like an occurring issue. I’m working on a new version that will hopefully have this issue fixed. Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated!

  15. #39 by ekrem on June 2, 2009 - 6:32 pm

i was searching for something like this for years! awesome plugin!

could you please give me a hint how i can realize to create URLS to the same domain in the same post? i have issues with these links:

    http://whatweheart.com/?l=E_9HyKFZ
    http://whatweheart.com/?l=E_9HyKFZ/moderatoren/schradin
    http://whatweheart.com/?l=E_9HyKFZ/moderatoren/autogrammkarten

first link works perfect but the two other are screwed up…

  16. #41 by Romeo on June 2, 2009 - 8:06 pm

    I tryed…
    look here

    http://www.romeolab.com/?l=Svfe1esv

it should be an ë and it shows an ë

    • #42 by Anthony on June 3, 2009 - 2:03 pm

I would like to think it may have to do with how it renders different characters. Have you tried using special character codes?

For example for your ë you could use: & euml; (without space)

      For more character codes: http://www.webmonkey.com/reference/Special_Characters

Note: Use the name character codes.

  17. #43 by ekrem on June 3, 2009 - 1:33 am

    the plugin automatically created them.

    • #44 by Anthony on June 3, 2009 - 2:09 pm

Can you tell me where to go on your site to where the not working link is being created? All the links I’ve found on your site look correct, so please let me know what post I can look at where its creating an invalid post.

  18. #45 by Romeo on June 3, 2009 - 3:17 pm

    Hi Anthony,

thank for the tipp with the character code, it funktion :)

Now another little bug.. :) I think this time in CSS.
Have u seen the plugin with IE 8?
Coz im using Windows Seven (beta) and IE ver. 8.0.7000 and the bar is not showing ok.

Check this pls and if u need a screnshoot tell me :D

    • #46 by Anthony on June 5, 2009 - 1:53 am

Thanks for the heads, up, I’ve updated the CSS and its fixed to now work with IE 7 & 8.

I should be putting an update to the plugin out within the next few days with a couple other bug fixes.

  19. #47 by ekrem on June 4, 2009 - 1:50 am

thanks anthony! i appreciate your support :)

i have setup a test for you:

When installing your plugin, received a suspended account, cpu quota exceeded error.

Looking at the error log, there was many fastcgi errors.

    • #53 by Anthony on June 5, 2009 - 1:55 am

Difficult to assess, first error of its kind. You may want to check your web host limitations.

  21. #54 by Preben.J on June 8, 2009 - 6:47 am

Is it anyway i can hack/code this plugin to work on all extarnal links? Not just links in my blogpost, but also the links in my sidebar?

    • #55 by Anthony on June 8, 2009 - 9:02 am

I’m currently in the midst of an update to the plugin which has the functionality to apply it to your links (blogroll). There are a few other bugs/fixes that will be issued with the update, so look for the updated sometime later this week.

  22. #56 by Romeo on June 11, 2009 - 2:44 am

    Hi, me again :P

i just upgrade to WordPress 2.8 and i have a problem with the Admin Panel. Wenn i activate the plugin and go to the DASHBOARD not all things are showing, i can’t drop down the menus.
Look at this picture and see what i mean:

    http://www.romeolab.com/problem.png

    • #57 by Anthony on June 15, 2009 - 5:48 pm

      Romeo,
I update the plugin with a whole bunch of things, hopefully to speed things up as well as alleviate some issue users were having. Let me know if you’re still experiencing issues with the newest plugin update.

  23. #58 by iwishtravel on June 15, 2009 - 2:45 pm

Every time a user clicks on a link and that opens up a page with this header . . . is that then registered as a hit on say google analytics? Even when the bar is present and the URL is different to how it is normally?

As I can see that there is that \"X\" which removes the header and returns the URL to the normal address name.

So I wondered if hits are only registered when this happens.

Apologies for my \’non-techy\’ question, but I am not a techy!

Great plugin though! Loving it! :-)

    • #59 by Anthony on June 19, 2009 - 2:43 am

Since the pages are not reading the wp_footer of say the themes, they are not registered as hits through google analytics. I will look into methods to include scripts such as Google Analytics.

      Thanks for the feedback!

  24. #60 by Ou Lanhui on June 17, 2009 - 7:03 am

    I think this plugin add

    as in wpbar.php
    print ”

    $bigTitle”;

    will be better.

Or you could make the page encodin as an option.
    :)

    • #61 by Anthony on June 19, 2009 - 2:44 am

I just completed a huge set of bug fixes and updates to the plugin. Check out version 0.5.3, I made a huge change to the title reading by using regular expressions.

  25. #62 by Garrett on June 18, 2009 - 5:03 am

I run a wordpress website and let me tell you: this plugin is awesome! Two issues however:
    1. I upgraded wordpress and the white-list now resets.. every time I add items to the white-list they do not affect the pages and when I reload the settings the white-list disappears.

    Which brings the second problem.

    2. I use sociable to create sharing links at the bottom of each post. WP bar turns these into WP bar links as well. This was avoided by adding to the white-list. Now I can\\\’t do that though.. Suggestions?

    • #63 by Anthony on June 19, 2009 - 2:46 am

1.) I’ve just issued a new update to the plugin which fixes this automatic reset issue.

2.) I also fixed the conflict with Sociable links so it does not apply the bar to sociable links.

Update the plugin with the latest version, a whole bunch of fixes as well as some new features :)

      • #64 by Garrett on June 19, 2009 - 6:57 pm

This is amazing. And the new “featured in” feature is incredible. Great work!

  26. #65 by Matt Peskett on June 18, 2009 - 6:22 am

I had a few problems with this plug-in since the 2.8 WordPress upgrade, it crashed all the other plug-ins last night when I tried deactivating and activating. It started off fine saving white list URLs but suddenly stopped and wouldn’t save any settings I entered. I think it’s a great tool in principle for users but I am gonna wait for a few more bug tests ;-)

    • #66 by Anthony on June 19, 2009 - 2:48 am

I’ve spent a lot of hours testing and updating the plugin code drastically with many bug fixes and updates. Check out the newest version I just updated (0.5.3) I hope this version proves to be much more stable. As always, I appreciate the feedback!

      • #67 by Esperto SEO on June 23, 2009 - 4:46 am

Your plugin is the best of the year my friend ;)

I don’t know if is in your plans, but i think is very greatful if the new url can be ordered for number of views

        Thank u!

    Hi,

The plugin gives strange errors on all of my blogs. Here one example. WordPress version is 2.7.1. Mysql Server 5.1.35. These errors dissapear when I deactivate the plugin.

Is there something I can do to solve this or has the plugin to be adjusted?

FYI. Even when I whitelist the domains tinyurl.com and twitter.com the errors remain

It’s difficult to pinpoint the problem exactly. Looking at the error messages, I do have a few suggestion to test out.

First, try removing characters such as ‘ and ’ (not ‘ ). I hope you can tell the difference between the 3 characters. The ones’ that are on an angle maybe causing errors with the database query (highly unlikely, but its something I would test to verify).

Second, have you tried disabling all of your other plugins and only leaving The WordPress Bar active? It could be a conflict of plugins that I may not be aware of. If the error messages go away because of this. Reactivate each plugin one by one until you can pinpoint the possible plugin conflict.

This might help you better solve your error. I hope this helps!

Anthony, tnx for your helpful answer. You pointed me in the right direction.

The problem is one of the other plugins: the \"SMIRC\" plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/social-media-integrated-related-content-smirc/

One of the plugin\’s options is defining the title separator of a post. In my case this is the \"-\" character. When I define it, the wp-bar plugin can not handle the links anymore, the url whis is brought into the database is broken, so I did not define any title separator anymore and the problem does not occur anymore.

But, there is some other problem staying. The \"SMIRC\" plugin searches on google blogs for relevant related content and shows them. If in these found urls a \" \’ \" is used the wp-bar plugin can not handle them and the error like below is occurring. This is something I can not resolve, that\’s on your side. Can you please take this issue into account in improving the next version of your plugin. Would be very helpful. Any url can then be used in the wp-bar and not only urls without \" \’ \" ;-)

    Great plugin, Anthony!

Just wondering if you can filter out anchor links and relative links for your next release.

    eg. [a href=\"#anchor\"]Anchor Example[/a]

    eg. [a href=\"/an-example-of-a-relative-link/\"]Relative Link Example[/a]

    • #72 by Anthony on June 27, 2009 - 12:52 pm

I’ll definitely take it into consideration! I’m working on a new release right now that has some really amazing new features, or at least I think! I think this new version will really redefine what is capable with this plugin!

Appreciate the comments and suggestions, as always!

  30. #73 by dave on June 29, 2009 - 9:54 am

    Anthony :
That’s actually a something on my to do list to add to the plugin. I want to create a feature where you can “whitelist” links to ignore, hope to have it out in the next release.
I have a few other features and fixes that I’m looking to implement as well, so stay tuned!
    Thanks again for the feedback!

First of all I would like to say I absolutely love this addon and find very little wrong with it.

With that said, I would like to mention that I have made a minor modification that would be awesome to see in a future release.

A problem I saw was that when you had regular text over a link, you couldn’t see the URL that you are being directed too. Personally I tend to not click on links if I don’t know exactly where they are directing me too. Because of that, I added a title text to each outgoing link that WP-Bar modifies that now says “External Link: http://url.of.link.com

Randy, great concept! I actually added it to the next release of the plugin, with some other really cool features! Should be out really soon!

    function getAttribute

    returns a urldecode(match[2])

this breaks all my externals links that have a “+” sign in them.

    For example, http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking+News/Singapore/Story/STIStory_402430.html

couldn’t parse properly to a short url.

So, I modified that function to just return match[2] without any decoding.

    • #79 by Anthony on July 15, 2009 - 2:18 am

Is it not creating a WordPress Bar link inside of posts? Or are the links itself not showing? I may be able to help you further.

Is it legal to have adsense ads in WP bar iframe ?

    • #81 by Anthony on July 15, 2009 - 7:19 pm

As far as I know, as long as you’re making the ads viewable. Using some ad tracking systems such as OpenX it outputs your ads using an iframe, which is legal. But if you are show adsense in a misleading way, then I would have to say that’s illegal.

Hi there! I love the idea of the plugin, so I installed it right away. Unfortunately, I see absolutely nothing showing it. Maybe it’s incompatible with my theme? Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    • #83 by Anthony on July 17, 2009 - 10:33 pm

It would be difficult for me say exactly. Is it creating the links in your posts? That would be the first thing to check. After you create a post with a URL in it, click on the link and it should have a different URL then what you originally posted. From there, when viewing your external link, you should see the bar on the top. Hope this helps!

hi anthony…first of all…thanks for this great plugins…i will have great use for it

but I found that someone else could just simply enter the following in a browser: (i mean 100,000 of these entries)
    http://yoururl.com?http://www.xyz.com
    http://yoururl.com?http://www.aaa.com
    http://yoururl.com?http://www.bbb.com

and goes on…so your database will be filled with this junk links. Can we avoid them or can I disable the easy link creation.

Feel free to delete part of my comment ..while you figure out a solution

    • #85 by Anthony on July 17, 2009 - 10:31 pm

That’s a great point. I will definitely consider options for this on the next release of the plugin. Thank you!!

Love the concept. But all it takes is a simple break from frames script and it is rendered useless.

I have just install it on my blog but it’s not working…
It’s redirecting all links to my own blog…

Can you help me to solve it ?¿

    • #89 by Anthony on July 28, 2009 - 11:22 pm

Are you making the links in your blog posts clickable? Can you send me a link so that I can look at it? It’s difficult to assess otherwise.

  41. #90 by Daniel on July 28, 2009 - 5:23 pm

Hi, just the plugin i was looking for, but I can’t seem to get it work. I would like to have the links on my front page (titles that are links to other blog entries) to be turned into these kind of links but they doesn’t seem to do that. Any idea why? (It works on pages if I insert an link)

    • #91 by Anthony on July 28, 2009 - 11:25 pm

The WordPress Bar is designed to be featured on links pointing outside of the blog, not the title itself. I’ve consider other possibilities on what can be “WordPress Barred” but as of now its applicable to links inside of your posts and pages, and the blogroll (links). If I can find a concrete overall reason and design on applying it to other sections of WordPress, but that may not be until a further release.

In short, if you create links inside of a post, those links are rewritten as new links with the WordPress Bar.

      • #92 by Daniel on July 29, 2009 - 5:06 am

Ok thank you so much for the quick reply. The problem is that the titles are the links pointing outside the blog (each title is a link to an external blog entry). So is there a way to work around this so I can make it work?

        • #93 by Anthony on July 30, 2009 - 1:05 am

I’m really sorry, but I don’t have any way of doing this exactly since what you are linking externally (the title) is not part of the post itself (in terms of “the content”). I will look into seeing if I can provide some type of API for advance uses such as this.

            Anthony -

I’m looking at the same issue. The titles of my posts are external links. Would love to make these run through WP-Bar, too. I’d be happy to give any potential revisions with this functionality a test run on my WP install.

Any reason you’re not version-stamping the download URL?

    • #96 by Anthony on August 13, 2009 - 12:54 am

In all honesty, I’m not too sure how this is achieved. I’ve assuming I’d create a separate subversion directory on my computer before committing it, but that would just be my guess. If you know how this can be achieved properly, I’d truly appreciate the help. Many thanks for the suggestion and any help you can share.

    hi anthony!

thank you so much for the work and time you have invested in this plugin! be sure that many people appreciate it a _LOT_!

Unfortunately, i have a small issue and i hope you can help here… please visit my website. as you can see, there are a huge load of links but since they are not in a blogpost… wpbar does not get into work. is it possible to modify your plugin to let those links work too?

hope you can help here *pray*

    greetings from cologne germany

    • #99 by Anthony on August 13, 2009 - 12:38 am

I’m not sure how those links are listed on your site? It would be difficult to say exactly if these links can be applied to the WordPress Bar. If you are using the Links (Blogroll) feature of WordPress you can apply the WordPress Bar to these links? That maybe a method you may want to try. I’ve also considered a short API of code to allow you to highly customize your blog with the WordPress Bar. No set release on this potential functionality though.

    Hi Anthony,

I like your plugin, but its using PHP short tags, and is therefore throwing an error on my Macbook Pro OSX Leopard:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /Library/WebServer/Documents/hjw/wp-content/plugins/wp-bar/wpbar.php on line 718

To fix the problem you need to change all short tags to full tags: <? would become <?php

    Cheers,
    Andrew

If you do a find and replace for “< ?" with "< ?php" (without quotes) in the code of the plugin, it should fix this issue. I'm planning on releasing a new version of the plugin that would fix this issue, but no date on the release has been set. Please look for an update (probably within a week) to the plugin, which will have this issue fix. For now, feel free to do the quick find and replace to the wpbar.php file and it will fix your issue. Hope this helps!
